Meet the Founder
The Little Enchanted Post Office began in our own home.
As an educator and social worker, I have always been drawn to the moment when a child connects deeply with an experience that truly resonates. I saw that spark in my daughter Violet as she received letters and stories from fairies. What began as a small magical tradition soon grew into a joyful and intentional way to nurture her imagination, confidence, and love of learning.
I wanted to create that same kind of experience for other families.
At its heart, this program cultivates awe and wonder. When children experience wonder, they become curious. Curiosity fuels learning. Awe opens the door to creativity, empathy, and emotional growth. It helps children feel connected to themselves, to others, and to the world around them.
As a mindfulness practitioner, I believe that developing resilience, emotional awareness, and a strong sense of self is foundational in childhood. Each quest thoughtfully weaves mindfulness practices into the adventure, inviting children to pause, reflect, and grow while delighting in the magic of the world and within themselves.
This program reflects what I value most as both a professional and a parent: imagination, emotional well-being, and meaningful connection.
I have worked with intention to ensure that all who enter Avalon feel inspired, deeply valued, and filled with a lasting sense of wonder.
